Sometimes, my tendency to miserliness can lead to a neat piece of work.
After messing around with some block printing, there was a film of ink left on the glass. I thought, 'I hate to just wash this down the sink.' I put a sheet of paper over the ink and drew a quick dragon; the pressure transferred ink to the paper for a carbon-type print. Neato!
There was still ink on the glass, so I put down a fresh sheet of paper and rubbed like hell with a spoon. The result was this sort-of monoprint, with a negative image where my drawing had removed the ink.
