Alan brought this to our wine gathering last Saturday and we had this to kick start the evening. Going by the vintage, he must have kept this bottle for some time.
Golden yellow color with tropical fruits (lychee) and floral nose. Creamy sweetness, honey, citrus, melon, spice and minerals. Clean, fresh and smooth with tremendous aromatics.
This is an excellent Gewurztraminer and a phenomenal starter wine for a wine evening. Rich, well balanced, bursting with flavor and aromatics, and very alluring.
