Headliners Set 23 Milestone Robb Nenn replaces 2nd Half Heroes Ken Griffey Jr. in Headliners packs today. He is a 96 overall.
I feel like poor ol’ Ken Griffey Jr. got overshadowed by all the ASG content in The Show. His Headliners card did not get sustained love, but Griffey Jr. was still living his best life at the Home Run Derby by delivering a ton of laughs throughout. With Milestone Robb Nenn, you get a 99 mph fastball (no outlier), a slider, splitter, and curveball. He has 99 control of the fastball, 97 control of the slider, and 85 control of the splitter. He has 105 H/9, 124 K/9, and he looks like a great duo in the card collection once you unlock Milestone Pablo Sandoval.
Every new elite reliever who comes out is worth exploring, but Nenn has been in the game for a couple years now so you should have some experience with him in one form or fashion. I have never personally used a Nenn card for extended stretches, but his pitch mix is viable even if some people seem to think any pitcher without a sinker is not worth scoping out.
